Product Overview

The Fisher FIELDVUE DLC3010 Digital Level Controller with Fisher 249W Sensor is designed for accurate measurement of liquid level, liquid-to-liquid interface, and fluid density in industrial process vessels. Manufactured by Fisher, an Emerson brand, this integrated measurement system uses displacer-based buoyancy sensing and digital electronics to convert changes in liquid level into a standard 4–20 mA output with HART communication. It supports continuous process monitoring, reliable measurement, and integration with industrial control systems.

The system combines the DLC3010 microprocessor-based level transmitter with the Fisher 249W cageless, wafer-style displacer sensor. As process liquid levels change, the displacer and torque tube assembly transfer movement to the controller, where a contactless Hall-effect sensor converts the movement into an electronic signal. The 249W supports installation between suitable NPS 3 or NPS 4 flanges and is available in CL150, CL300, and CL600 pressure classes. This combination is suitable for oil and gas production, chemical processing, refining, power generation, and industrial liquid level monitoring.

Questions about this part?

Our engineers can confirm fit before you order. Contact support.

How do I find the right part for my system?

Three options. Search by part number if you have the OEM code from Parker, Danfoss, Linde, Kawasaki, Kayaba or Grundfos — our search recognises both manufacturer codes and aftermarket cross-references. Browse by category if you know the component type (pumps, valves, cylinders, etc.). Or send a spec sheet to our engineering desk and we'll cross-reference against our 3,000+ SKU catalogue within one business day.

Can you help me size a pump or valve for my application?

Yes — sizing support is included with every order. Send us your operating pressure, flow rate, viscosity, drive speed and duty cycle, and our engineers will recommend a suitable component from our catalogue with full datasheets. We don't custom-build parts ourselves, but we can spec the right OEM component for almost any standard industrial application.

Can you cross-reference a discontinued part?

Yes — cross-referencing is one of the things we do most. Send us the original part number (even if the manufacturer has dropped it) and our engineering desk will identify a current equivalent or compatible alternative. Cross-reference lookups are free and typically come back within 4 business hours.
