Pump OEM Brands We Cover
Grundfos
Grundfos makes centrifugal pumps for water supply, pressure boosting, HVAC, wastewater and industrial processes. It’s a different world from hydraulic pumps, so we match Grundfos pumps on duty point, model and seals rather than displacement and shaft. The Grundfos page covers spare parts and replacements.
Linde Hydraulic Pumps
Linde builds open and closed circuit axial piston pumps for loaders, forklifts, forestry and agricultural machines. The Linde hydraulic pumps page focuses on pumps alone, from hydrostatic drive pumps to working hydraulics, matched by the full model code.
Kawasaki Hydraulic Pumps
Kawasaki swash plate piston pumps sit at the heart of many excavators, often as tandem units with a regulator on each side. The Kawasaki hydraulic pumps page covers main pumps, regulators and rotating groups, matched by Kawasaki number and machine.
Kayaba Hydraulic Pumps
Kayaba, or KYB, makes gear and piston pumps for mini excavators, forklifts, tractors and compact loaders. The Kayaba hydraulic pumps page covers single and multiple-section gear pumps and variable piston pumps for smaller machines.
OEM Pump Brands
Not every original maker has its own page yet. OEM pump brands lists the other original equipment pump makers we cross-reference, so you can find a genuine route for pumps outside the main brands above.
Aftermarket Pump Brands
Aftermarket pump brands cover the makers of equivalent pumps, built to match an original’s flange, shaft, ports and ratings. These can be a practical choice when a genuine pump is obsolete, expensive or on a long lead time.
Tracing a Machine Builder’s Part Number
Excavator, forklift and tractor builders usually buy pumps from specialist makers, then sell them under their own part numbers. That number rarely shows what’s inside. The pump nameplate, casting marks and machine serial number usually reveal the original maker and model. Once we know it, we can compare the dealer’s price and lead time with a genuine pump from the maker or a proven equivalent.
Hydraulic and Water Pumps Are Different Jobs
Pump OEMs cover two quite different families. Hydraulic pumps, such as Linde, Kawasaki and Kayaba units, are positive displacement pumps that push a fixed volume of oil per turn at high pressure. Water and process pumps, such as Grundfos, are mostly centrifugal pumps that move large volumes at lower pressure and follow a duty curve. Matching a hydraulic pump starts with displacement, rotation and control. Matching a centrifugal pump starts with flow, head and the liquid being pumped. We handle both, so tell us which kind you have.
Before You Order a Replacement Pump
A new pump in a faulty system rarely lasts. Before ordering, check why the old one failed. In hydraulic systems, look at oil cleanliness, filter condition, oil temperature and the suction line. In closed circuit drives, flush the loop and check the motor. In water systems, check for dry running, blocked strainers and a duty point that has drifted from the curve. Fixing the cause first protects the new pump and saves a repeat order.
Related Brand Groups
Pump OEMs sit alongside our other brand groups. Brands such as Parker and Danfoss, which make whole hydraulic systems, are covered under hydraulic OEMs. Filters, sensors and fittings from specialist makers are under component brands, and buying guidance and datasheets are under resources.
