Hydraulic OEM Brands We Cover
Parker
Parker makes a wide range of hydraulic components, from pumps and motors to valves, filters, hoses and fittings. This page covers Parker hydraulics across the whole system, so you can match valves, cylinders and filtration as well as pumps.
Linde
Linde Hydraulics is known for open and closed circuit piston pumps and motors used in mobile machines such as loaders, forestry equipment and agricultural machinery. We help match Linde pumps, motors and valves by model code.
Danfoss
Danfoss Power Solutions supplies pumps, motors, steering units and proportional valves for mobile machinery, from closed-circuit drive pumps to orbital motors. This page covers Danfoss hydraulics across the machine.
Kawasaki
Kawasaki swash plate piston pumps are widely used in excavators and other heavy mobile machines, alongside Kawasaki motors and control valves. We match Kawasaki pumps and parts by the full model code and machine.
Kayaba
Kayaba, often shortened to KYB, makes gear pumps, piston pumps, motors and control valves for construction, agricultural and materials handling machines. We help find genuine or equivalent Kayaba hydraulic parts.
Parker Hydraulic Pumps
This page focuses on Parker pumps alone: piston, vane and gear designs for industrial and mobile duties. It’s the best starting point if you’re replacing a Parker pump specifically.
Danfoss Hydraulic Pumps
This page focuses on Danfoss pumps, including open and closed circuit piston pumps and gear pumps for mobile machines. Use it when the part you need is a Danfoss pump rather than another component.
Reading an OEM Model Code
Hydraulic OEM model codes pack a lot into one line. Different characters usually describe the series, displacement, rotation, control type, shaft, flange, ports and seals. Two pumps from the same series can look identical but differ in rotation or control, and fitting the wrong one can damage the machine. Send the full code from the nameplate, not just the series, and we’ll decode it.
Genuine, Equivalent or Superseded
There are usually three routes to a replacement. A genuine part comes from the original manufacturer. A superseded part is the OEM’s newer replacement for an old number, which may need small changes to fit. An equivalent is made by another maker to match the key dimensions and ratings. We’ll tell you which you’re getting and how it compares, so you can weigh cost, lead time and risk.
Repair or Replace?
Many OEM pumps and motors can be repaired with seal kits, bearings and rotating group parts. Repair suits pumps with a sound housing and shaft where parts are available. Replacement makes sense when wear is severe, the pump is obsolete or the duty has changed. Our engineers can help you decide, and suggest a different pump where the original no longer suits the job.
Common Problems Across Brands
Across all the major brands, the same few problems cause most failures: contaminated oil, overheating, cavitation from suction restrictions, and the wrong replacement fitted last time. Before ordering a new pump, check the filter condition, oil temperature and suction line. A new pump in a dirty or overheating system often fails just as fast as the old one.
Related Brand Groups
Hydraulic OEMs sit alongside our other brand groups. Pump makers such as Grundfos and dedicated pump pages for Linde, Kawasaki and Kayaba are under pump OEMs. Filters, sensors and fittings from other makers are under component brands, and buying guidance is under resources.
What We Need From You
- The brand and full model code from the nameplate.
- Photos of the nameplate, shaft, flange and ports.
- The machine make, model and serial number.
- Whether you need genuine only, or are open to equivalents.
Why Work With TSA Hydraulics Engineering
We work across many hydraulic OEMs, so we’re not tied to one catalogue. You get honest labelling of genuine, superseded and equivalent parts, and engineers who can decode a model code or suggest a better fit. Brand names are used to identify parts, and we’ll always be clear about what we supply.
