Parker Pump Types We Match
Axial Piston Pumps
Parker axial piston pumps, including well-known series such as PV, deliver high pressure with variable displacement. They suit presses, injection moulding machines and industrial power units where flow needs to follow demand.
Vane Pumps
Parker vane pumps, many with Denison heritage, run quietly and handle medium to high pressures. Single, double and triple versions suit machine tools, presses and mobile equipment, and cartridge kits make them easy to rebuild.
Gear Pumps
Parker gear pumps are simple and tough, used on mobile machines, power packs, and auxiliary circuits. Single and multiple-section designs drive several functions from one shaft.
Reading a Parker Pump Model Code
A Parker pump code describes the series, displacement, rotation, control, shaft, ports and seals. On piston pumps, the control code matters most, because it sets how the pump responds to pressure and load. On vane pumps, each section of a double or triple pump has its own size. Send the full code from the nameplate, and we’ll decode it before we quote.
Repair, Rebuild or Replace
Many Parker pumps can be rebuilt rather than replaced. Vane pumps take cartridge kits, piston pumps take rotating group parts and seal kits, and gear pumps can sometimes be resealed. Replacement makes more sense when the housing is damaged, the shaft is worn, or the pump has been superseded and parts are scarce. We’ll give you the options side by side.
Genuine, Superseded or Equivalent
Where a genuine Parker pump is available, we’ll quote it. Older series are sometimes superseded by newer ones that fit with small changes. Equivalent pumps from other makers can match the flange, shaft, displacement and pressure, often with shorter lead times. We’ll say which you’re getting and how it compares.
Getting the Most From a Parker Pump
Clean oil is the biggest factor in pump life. Keep the system at the cleanliness level the pump needs, check the suction strainer and inlet hose, and keep oil temperature in range. On piston pumps, rising case drain flow is an early sign of internal wear. On vane pumps, a change in noise often points to suction trouble.
Related Brands and Components
Parker hydraulic pumps sit alongside other OEM pumps in our range. Closed circuit and gear pumps for mobile machines are covered under Danfoss hydraulic pumps, compact machine pumps under Kayaba, and excavator pumps under Kawasaki. The motors and valves that work with these pumps are covered under hydraulic motors and directional control valves.
What We Need From You
- The full Parker pump model code from the nameplate.
- Photos of the nameplate, shaft, flange and ports.
- The machine or power unit it’s fitted to.
- Whether you’re after a new pump, a rebuild kit or an equivalent.
- Why Work With TSA Hydraulics Engineering
As a supplier of Parker hydraulic pumps and equivalents, we’ll tell you plainly what’s genuine and what isn’t. You get rebuild options where they make sense, and engineers who can decode a Parker model code or suggest a better fit for the duty.
