Linde Pump Types We Match
Open Circuit Pumps (HPR)
Linde open circuit axial piston pumps, including the well known HPR series, supply working hydraulics such as lifting, tilting, steering and attachments. Many have self regulating controls that adjust flow to what the machine needs, which keeps heat and fuel use down.
Closed Circuit Pumps (HPV)
Linde closed circuit pumps, such as the HPV series, power hydrostatic travel drives on loaders, forklifts and harvesters. They work as a matched pair with a Linde motor and carry a charge pump to keep the loop full and cool.
Double and Through Drive Pumps
Many Linde machines use pumps mounted in tandem, or with a through drive that carries a second pump on the back. Each section needs its own match, so note every nameplate on the stack.
Reading a Linde Pump Code
A Linde pump code describes the series, displacement, control, rotation and options. Two pumps from the same series can share a size and look identical, yet differ in control settings, and fitting the wrong one changes how the machine lifts or drives. Send the full code from the pump nameplate, not just the series, plus the machine make, model and serial number.
When a Linde Pump Starts to Fail
Linde pumps usually warn you before they fail. Slow or weak functions, rising oil temperature, noise and higher case drain flow are the common signs. On closed circuit drives, low charge pressure often shows up first as sluggish travel. Before replacing the pump, check filters, oil level and condition, and the settings of the control. If the pump has failed badly, flush the loop and check the motor so the new pump doesn’t suffer the same fate.
Repair, Rebuild or Replace
Linde piston pumps are built to be rebuilt. Rotating groups, valve plates, bearings and seal kits can restore a pump with a sound housing and shaft, often for much less than a new unit. Replacement makes more sense when the housing is cracked, the shaft spline is worn or parts are no longer made. We’ll give you both options with prices and lead times.
Genuine, Superseded or Equivalent
Where a genuine Linde pump is available, we’ll quote it. Older series are sometimes superseded by newer ones that fit with small changes. Equivalent pumps and rotating groups can match the flange, shaft, displacement and control, sometimes with shorter lead times. Every quote states which you’re getting.
Related Pump Brands and Components
Linde hydraulic pumps sit alongside other pump OEMs in our range. Excavator main pumps are covered under Kawasaki hydraulic pumps, compact machine pumps under Kayaba hydraulic pumps, and centrifugal water pumps under Grundfos. The drive motors and control valves that work with Linde pumps are covered under hydraulic motors and directional control valves.
