What You’ll Find Here
Technical documents save guesswork on every order. This library brings together the documents engineers and maintenance teams ask for most:
- Product datasheets with ratings and dimensions.
- Performance curves for pumps and motors.
- Dimensional and general arrangement drawings.
- Hydraulic circuit diagrams and schematics.
- Parts lists and seal kit references.
- Installation and maintenance instructions.
The library grows as documents are added. If something isn’t listed yet, ask. Many documents can be supplied on request.
Reading a Datasheet Properly
Start with the model code, because one character can change the shaft, the flange, the rotation or the control. Then check the ratings that matter for your duty: displacement or flow, maximum pressure, speed range, and the fluid and temperature limits. Finally, check the installation drawing for mounting, port positions and space around the unit. If the datasheet lists a required oil cleanliness code, note it, as it affects pump life as much as pressure does.
Making Sense of Circuit Diagrams
Hydraulic circuit diagrams use ISO 1219 symbols. Once you know the basics, a diagram shows how the pump, valves, actuators and filters connect, and what each valve does. When you’re replacing a valve or troubleshooting, the circuit diagram is often quicker than tracing pipes on the machine. Our standards & ISO guides cover the main symbols and standards in plain English.
Drawings for Skids and Systems
For skids, power units and engineered systems, the key documents are the general arrangement drawing, the P&ID or hydraulic schematic, and the parts list. These are supplied with quotes and at handover, so your team has what it needs for installation, commissioning and future maintenance. Ask for drawings in PDF or CAD format to suit your team.
Genuine and Equivalent Parts
For genuine parts, we supply the manufacturer’s own datasheet. For equivalent parts, we provide the equivalent’s datasheet and show how it compares with the original on the ratings and dimensions that matter. That way you can check the match before you buy, not after it arrives. Where an equivalent differs, such as a slightly different port thread or weight, we’ll point it out so there are no surprises on site.
Requesting a Document
- Find the part number or model code on the nameplate.
- Send it to us, with a photo if the plate is worn.
- Tell us which documents you need: datasheet, curve, drawing or diagram.
- We’ll send what’s available, or tell you if it doesn’t exist.
Keeping Your Own Records
Save every datasheet and drawing alongside the commissioning report for each machine. When a part fails years later, those documents make finding a replacement fast. Our lifecycle support service can help organise records for critical plant, and our hydraulic pump guides explain how to use them.
