The Neles NE726 Electropneumatic Valve Positioner is designed for accurate positioning and automatic control of pneumatic valve actuators in industrial process systems. Manufactured under the Neles brand by Valmet, this positioner converts a 4–20 mA DC electrical control signal into a proportional pneumatic output that regulates valve movement. Its mechanical feedback mechanism continuously compares the required valve position with actual actuator travel, supporting stable flow regulation, responsive valve operation, and reliable performance in demanding industrial applications.
Part of the Neles NE700 series, the NE726 features a 6 mm pneumatic pilot valve designed for actuators with stroke volumes ranging from 8 to 30 litres. Its rugged anodised aluminium housing provides IP54 enclosure protection, while its force-balance control mechanism, adjustable feedback cam, and direct or reverse operating action support flexible installation and calibration.
