The SAMSON Type 3730-3 Intelligent Digital Valve Positioner is designed for accurate positioning and automated control of pneumatic valve actuators in industrial process systems. Manufactured by SAMSON, this electropneumatic positioner uses a 4–20 mA electrical input with HART communication to regulate pneumatic output pressure and maintain precise valve positioning. Its microprocessor-based control system supports responsive actuator movement, stable flow regulation, and reliable process automation.
Part of the SAMSON Type 3730 series, the 3730-3 features automatic initialization, an integrated LCD display, rotary pushbutton operation, and EXPERTplus diagnostic capabilities. It supports compatible linear and rotary pneumatic actuators through suitable mounting arrangements, including direct attachment to SAMSON Type 3277 actuators.
