Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Any warranty we offer sits on top of these rights.
Genuine and Equivalent Parts
Genuine parts carry the maker’s own warranty, which we pass on to you. Equivalent parts carry their maker’s warranty, which we state on the quote. Warranty periods usually run from the date of dispatch: [TSA to confirm periods, for example 12 months for pumps and 6 months for seal kits].
What a Warranty Doesn’t Cover
- Damage from contaminated, wrong or degraded oil.
- Running dry, cavitation or wrong rotation at start up.
- Overpressure, overspeed or use outside the datasheet ratings.
- Incorrect installation, alignment or flushing.
- Normal wear of seals, filters and other wear parts.
How to Make a Claim
- Contact us with your invoice number and the part number.
- Describe the fault and how the part was installed and run.
- Send photos, the old filter element and an oil sample if asked.
- Return the part as instructed, unopened if possible, for assessment.
- We’ll share the maker’s findings and agree the outcome.
If a Claim Is Declined
If the maker finds the failure came from outside the part, such as contaminated oil or overpressure, we’ll share the report and photos with you. We’ll then help find the root cause and quote a repair or replacement, so the next part lasts longer.
Protecting Your Warranty
Flush the system after any previous failure, fit new filters, fill the pump case before start up on piston pumps, and check rotation before running under load. Record pressures and temperatures at commissioning. Simple records like these often decide a claim in your favour.
